I want to welcome everyone to the Knights of Columbus Council #4179 web site. Our council is located on Lake Springfield at 141 N Lakewood, Chatham, Ill. The Knights of Columbus is a fraternal organization of Catholic gentlemen. We are an organization that is dedicated to charity and helping our fellow man, but at the same time we have fun meeting our goals. At #4179 our name is Holy Family Council, and the whole family is always welcome.

Our Council clubhouse is the site of many different functions during the year. Many (if not most) of these are held with the family in mind. Our July Fourth Celebration & Fireworks Watching Party is just one of the many we hold. We also hold our MR/Tootsie Roll drive in the fall. This is when you see us handing out Tootsie Rolls for donations, with many of our families working together, to raise funds to help the disabled in the Springfield area.
